Julia Fazackerley – Strategic Projects, Lifeline


Julia Fazackerley

Julia has over 15 years experience of working in criminal justice field. A graduate in Law and Criminology, Julia began her career in criminal defence work. Since then she has worked at Lifeline Project Ltd, a national substance misuse charity. This has included 8 years of practice and management within prison-based drug services, including area management of the Yorkshire region. In 2008, Julia undertook secondments with YHIP/DH/Offender Health, to manage regional research projects on alcohol and offending. Julia has extended her project management experience and is fully qualified in Prince2 and MSP. More recently she has led on strategic projects within Lifeline, including corporate strategy, consultation and innovation. She is a key player within the development of the London Choices Consortium, as one of its Directors. Julia has recently completed a MSc in Health and Social Care at Manchester Business School, with a special interest dissertation in the development of voluntary sector consortia within criminal justice. She also holds a PgDip in Substance Misuse policy from UCLAN.
